In 2011, HSBC became the title sponsor of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, which encompasses ten tournaments around the world. The Series is the pinnacle of the international game of Rugby Sevens and with the inclusion of the sport at the 2016 Olympic Games, Sevens now attracts a truly international audience as the faster, more explosive form of the game.
