2026 Tournament Announcement

03 Jun 2025

We are pleased to confirm that the 2026 Howden Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens will take place from Monday 23 to Friday 27 March 2026.

This year’s event will feature increased capacities across several competitions and a revised schedule. We’re especially excited to highlight the growth of three girls competitions – notably the U16 Girls competition, which will now be held over two days to accommodate more teams and growing demand.

The updated schedule is as follows:

Monday 23 March – U18 Boys Vase (Day 1), U14 Girls (One Day Competition) Tuesday 24 March – U18 Boys Vase (Final Day), U14 Boys (Day 1), U18 Girls ACE (One Day Competition)
Wednesday 25 March – U14 Boys (Final Day), U16 Boys Colts (Day 1)
Thursday 26 March – U16 Boys Colts (Final Day), U18 Boys Cup (Day 1), U18 Girls Open (Day 1), U16 Girls (Day 1), U11 Mixed Festival (One Day Festival)
Friday 27 March – U18 Boys Cup (Final Day), U18 Girls Open (Final Day), U16 Girls (Final Day), U13 Preparatory Schools Festival (One Day Festival), U13 Junior Festival (One Day Festival)

Entry fees will remain flat for 2026: £240 for one-day competitions and £275 for two-day competitions. We will continue to offer a discount for schools registering five or more teams, however this will now be changed to a standardised £25 discount off the total price.

We’re also proud to continue growing our Road to Rosslyn programme, which helps schools in need of financial support take part in the tournament. In 2025, we were able to support 25 teams, more than double the number from the previous year. If your school could benefit from this support, please select the checkbox on the registration form and a member of our team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.

Registration will open on Friday 6 June 2025 at 1PM via the tournament website, www.rpns7.co.uk. Please note that entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis, with both registration date and payment date considered. Entry to the tournament will be confirmed once the draw is made. We strongly advise all schools to read the payment terms carefully before registering. Once the registration form has been submitted, you will receive an instant email acknowledgment of your registration as well as an invoice email sent to you or a bursar/financial contact of your choosing. The invoice can be paid online instantly by card or you can use transfer/cheque.

If your school was on the reserve list for the 2025 tournament and you would like to carry over your payment, you will be issued a credit equivalent to your 2025 entry fee. To use this credit, you must register as normal when registration opens and then contact [email protected] to apply the credit to your invoice.

We look forward to welcoming your teams to the 2026 tournament for another exceptional week of school rugby. If you have any questions, please reach out to a member of the team at [email protected].
