Stowe lift the Vase in style
From 240 teams that began the Vase competition yesterday, Stowe emerged as deserved winners after an impressive 33-5 victory over Oakham School in the final.
Oakham had made it to the final with a tight 12-7 win against Trinity School, while Stowe progressed via a comprehensive 33-10 victory over Haberdashers’ Monmouth. An honourable mention should also go to Seaford College who lost out to the eventual champions in the tightest of contests – losing 19-20 in the quarter final.
