Day 4 of the Tournament saw the concluding stages of the Colts (U16) competition and the early stages of both the U14 and U18 Cup competitions.
Harrow defeat Eaton 29-12 to take the Colts title
Another day of sunshine and another day of high-class rugby. Harrow topped a tough group and after progressing past Wellington College in the quarters, defeated a very strong Trinity side 22-12 in the semi final.
Eton meanwhile had reached the final with victories over Rugby School in the quarters and St Ambrose College in the semi final.
And so to the final. Spectators surrounded the showcase pitch for this contest – one of the oldest of rivalries between 2 teams who were undefeated over the 2 days. Harrow scored two quickfire tries to take a commanding early lead. Harrow added another try to make it 19-0 before Eaton finally scored before the break with virtually their first possession of the game to make it 19-7 at half time.
Harrow were again first on the scoreboard in the second half to take what proved to be an unassailable lead. Eton responded quickly with a try of their own, but Harrow were able to seal victory with a further try to win 29-12 and take the Colts title.
