Exeter were first to get on the scoreboard with a well-worked try and soon they stretched further ahead with an outstanding move. Oaklands had fought back in other games and yet again, they dug deep to score before the break.
But Exeter College struck immediately after half time with what turned out to be the decisive try. Oaklands never gave up and replied with two unanswered tries, but a single conversion proved the difference as Exeter held on to take the title 17-15.

Girls AASE Competition
Hartpury have dominated this competition in recent years and today was no exception. They were unbeaten in the round-robin group before meeting Bishop Burton College in the final.

The second half was more of the same right from the whistle, but Bishop Burton never stopped and earned themselves an outstanding consolation try to give a final score of 38-5 to Hartpury who are again the AASE Champions.
