Get READY FOR ROSSLYN!
Introducing our brand new pre-tournament programme ‘Ready For Rosslyn’ coming in early 2024!
In partnership with UR7s, we will be running 12 action packed talent development days across 6 regions in the UK. This will be free of charge to all teams registered in the 2024 Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens and serve as fantastic preparation ahead of the March event.
UR7s, a world leader in grassroots sevens development and coaching, will provide elite level coaching from current and past internationals for our participants, as well as giving teachers and coaches the chance to learn the latest tactics and technical aspects of the format.
All dates, venues and how to sign up will be revealed shortly and, as with the tournament, this will be operated on a first come first serve basis, please be sure to follow our updates so that you don’t miss out!
Andy Higgins, RPNS7s Tournament Director said “We are delighted to be expanding our world-famous annual five-day event with Ready For Rosslyn.
One of our goals for the tournament and in the wider rugby community is to increase participation and inclusivity, making these talent days accessible is an important step to achieving this.
We would like to thank the UR7s team for their hard work in delivering the programme with us, and look forward to building on this over the years.”
Tom Mitchell, Head of Performance & Player Development at UR7s said “Developing young, aspiring sevens players is something we have been dedicated to for the last 10 years.
Partnering with Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens, with their high-quality environment and rich legacy in providing opportunities to play and promote the game of sevens, is a hugely positive step and something we hope will lead to more people getting involved in the sport.
We can’t wait to start the Ready For Rosslyn programme and are looking forward to working with a diverse range of young players, coaches and teachers to develop their skills and understanding going into the main tournament in 2024 and beyond.
A big thank you to RPNS7s for the opportunity and support.”
